On February 16, CKA launched its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiative to spotlight how Asian Americans are impacted and can engage with ongoing national dialogues around structural racism and implicit bias. The first of these discussions was moderated by CKA Member Hogene Choi (Partner, Baker Botts LLP) who led a panel with CKA members Jerry Kang, Founding Vice Chancellor for DEI, UCLA; Hyepin Im, President & CEO, Faith, and Community Empowerment; Don H. Liu, Executive VP and Chief Legal & Risk Officer, Target Corporation; and Charlotte Koh, Producer & Media Executive. CKA’s affinity groups are made possible through a partial grant by the Korea Foundation.
