On Wednesday, July 15, CKA launched the inaugural meeting for Health & Life Science Affinity Group to assemble CKA members for professional-level conversations. Co-Chaired by CKA Board Member June Lee and CKA Member Jason Ahn, we invite all CKA members who are employed in or are interested in the public health, medical, and life sciences to join. In addition to physicians and research scientists, we welcome leaders in finance, legal, public policy, technology, and business fields.

The mission of this Health & Life Science Affinity Group is to promote meaningful networking opportunities, share news and opportunities across the country, and mobilize Korean American leaders to amplify the voice of the community.

During the inaugural meeting, we had a meet & greet for fellow health/life science members, formed a steering committee, and discussed initiatives that the group can pursue.
