As a supporter of the Council of Korean Americans (CKA), we thank you for your continued interest in our mission of advancing the national voice and influence of the Korean-American community through collaboration and leadership development. We are excited to announce that CKA has the opportunity to join a world-wide network of supporters through an upcoming GlobalGiving campaign that will increase our voice and visibility. This crowdfunding campaign, running June 8th through June 26th, will support our efforts to empower 100 college-age Korean- American emerging leaders through two summer programs that include webinars, group coaching, mentorship discussions, and team projects. We invite you to donate to our campaign and help us reach our $10,000 goal.
The impact COVID-19 had on internships and job opportunities for students and recent college graduates make it even more critical to equip young Korean-Americans with the tools they need to advance their skills and eventual influence of the Korean-American community. As such, CKA has developed an alternative, virtual career-focused leadership webinar series, and e- fellowship program intended to help young Korean-Americans from across the country learn professional skills, mentally prepare them for the next steps in life, and to think strategically about their career.
To develop and execute these summer programs, we need to raise at least $10,000 from 40 donors during our GlobalGiving campaign. In doing so, CKA will not only meet this project’s fundraising objectives, but we also secure permanent placement in the GlobalGiving network. This partnership will provide an ongoing opportunity to connect even more supporters to our mission and generate greater resources for collaboration, professional development, and engagement.
We invite you to make a long-term impact on these and future emerging Korean-American leaders by donating beginning June 8th at https://goto.gg/47052. Thank you in advance for your consideration and support.
