We have chosen trees as the metaphor to highlight how generous donors have a profound impact on the vibrancy and productivity of their surroundings and communities. Like trees, leaders start like young saplings that require much care, nourishment, and protection before it can be a big healthy tree that provides food and shelter for fauna and flowers around it. Similarly, for leaders to mature and be impactful, they need encouragement, investment, mentorship, and training throughout their life.
