CKA proudly kicked off the New Year by honoring the remarkable achievements and invaluable contributions of the Korean American community. The event featured an engaging conversation with Beverly Kim, a distinguished James Beard Award-winning chef and co-owner of the Michelin-starred Parachute in Chicago, and the esteemed Danny Lee, renowned chef and owner of multiple award-winning restaurants in Washington D.C., including Mandu, Anju, CHIKO, and I Egg You. Moderated by the esteemed Edward Lee, chef of Succotash and author of Buttermilk Graffiti, the fireside chat delved into the chefs’ inspiring journeys and their innovative approaches to elevating Korean flavors in their culinary creations.

A special thank you to the National Museum of Asian Art for co-hosting this conversation.
