Ms. Young Hee Kang is a longtime community leader and the past president of the Korean Cultural Center of Chicago. She has served in various civic organizations throughout the years, including as the president of the Chicago Korean Women’s Association. Ms. Kang is currently the chairwoman of Ewha Womans University’s Alumnae Association of Chicago.

Ms. Kang most recently led a major fundraising effort to secure the building for the Korean Cultural Center of Chicago. The Center is being used to promote Korean culture throughout the Korean American community in Chicago and beyond.
