Vicky Chao is an award-winning creative director specializing in motion design and video production with over a decade of professional experience crafting compelling visual narratives and graphics.

Vicky began her career after graduating from William and Mary with a degree in Film studies at global PR agency FleishmanHillard where she worked as a video producer, editor, and motion designer, supervising production and leading edits on video campaigns for various government agencies, organizations, and B2B and B2C companies alike. Following her time at FleishmanHillard, Vicky worked fulltime for several years as an independent video production and animation consultant, creating content for clients like the Smithsonian, TedX, Motorola, and many more.

Currently, Vicky splits her time between directing motion graphics for creative media company Freethink and independently consulting on video production and motion design projects for various partners and organizations.
