Ulia is from Virginia, currently based in Atlanta, Georgia as a senior at Emory University. As a Sociology and Spanish/Portuguese major, Ulia is passionate about connecting people and communities through language. She aspires to be a second language teacher and believes that the classroom is a place to introduce and foster love for cross-cultural communication and lifelong learning. If not education, she plans to pursue other social justice-oriented work or whatever else she is led to. In her free time, she is active with Emory’s journal of Christian thought “In Via,” growing the Emory Future Educators Association, and watching Netflix sports documentaries.
