Tayae Rogers (she/her) is a rising senior from northern Virginia studying economics and data science at Wellesley College. In her junior year at Wellesley, she served as co-President of the Korean Students Association (KSA) and of the Students for Interdisciplinary Data Initiative (SIDI). She also previously served on the Executive Board of the Wellesley Asian Alliance (WAA) and as a Senator in College Government. In her career, Tayae hopes to apply her quantitative skills to perform policy analysis, particularly of tax policies, with the ultimate goal of uplifting policies that increase equity. She has previously interned at the U.S. Department of the Treasury – Bureau of the Fiscal Service, The Commonwealth Institute (VA), and Hamkae Center (f.k.a. NAKASEC – VA), and was an Undergraduate Researcher at the MIT Election Data and Science Lab.
