Sylvia S. Han, CFA, CFP, CSRIC is a Vice President at Merrill, where as a Wealth Management Advisor she provides customized planning and investment advice and service to individual clients and their families to support their pursuit of retirement, family, philanthropic, or business goals. Using experience gained as an institutional portfolio manager/analyst at Wellington Management Company and Bain Capital, she understands the importance of portfolio risk control and being responsive to opportunities in the market.

Sylvia volunteers as an advisory board member for the Cary Library Foundation and the Boston Lyric Opera. In addition, she serves as a committee member of The Boston Club and The President’s Council of Cornell Women. Her work with the Korean community includes serving as President of the Korean American Organization of Lexington.

Sylvia earned an undergraduate degree in economics from Cornell University, and later received an MBA from Boston University. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst ® (CFA®) designation and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Financial Planning Association. In addition, she is a Chartered SRI Counselor™ (CSRIC®) related to ESG investing.
