Stanley J. Shin, MD, FACC, FACP is the first cardiologist to practice in the town of Statesboro, Georgia from 1997 and the Founding/Senior partner of Statesboro Cardiology. He holds an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and attended the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Following medical school, he finished his Internal Medicine residency at Prince George’s Hospital Center in Maryland and subsequently finalized his general and invasive cardiology fellowship training at Tulane University. In 1999, he played a pivotal role in bringing cardiac catheterization to the town, and in 2010 brought an interventional cardiology program to Statesboro. In addition to his practice, he works diligently as Convention Chair for the Korean American Medical Association 2018 Convention.
Dr. Stanley Shin is the proud husband of Alexis M. Shin, and father of two children, Claire and Elliott. His daughter, Claire S. Shin, graduated from Wellesley College while his son, Elliott H. Shin, attends Tufts University.
