Dr. Ryan S. Lee currently serves as Chief, Department of Dental Medicine & Oral Health, Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA). In this role, he oversees all of CHA’s oral health programs, including its outpatient and hospital-based clinical operations; hospital residency program affiliated with Harvard; community/public health initiatives; academic partnerships; philanthropic programs, and mobile dental services. He trained clinically at New York University (DDS with Honors, 2010), followed by a General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai/Jersey City Medical Center (2011), a Dental Oncology Fellowship at the Dept. of Head & Neck Surgery, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (2012), and a Postgraduate Research Fellowship at the Sloan Kettering Institute (2013). His non-clinical training includes public health, economics, and health management from A.T. Still University, Harvard, and Northwestern. Prior to joining CHA, Dr. Lee was Founder and CEO of Morning Calm Dental Management, a dental organization supporting 5 practices in the Northeast and an educational arm called Link stone Implant Academy. From 2012-2015, he served as Co-Director of the Special Patient Care honors program at Kriser Dental Center, NYU College of Dentistry. Dr. Lee is on the board of several non-profit organizations providing sustainable health projects in the developing world and is currently a Major (O4), Medical Detachment, Massachusetts Army National Guard, U.S. Army. In 2020, he was one of the recipients of CKA’s Empower Award for his efforts on the front lines of the COVID-19 response.
