MiSook Chung brings over twenty years of experience in the semiconductor industry, specializing in HR and total rewards. She currently serves as the Global Compensation Program and Partner Director at Micron Technology, where she leads strategic HR initiatives centered on the future of work, including skill development, global compensation training, and optimizing compensation practices and processes. Before joining Micron, MiSook held leadership roles in compensation across high-tech companies, building on her early experience in operations, sales, and administration within a startup environment.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Asian American Studies with a minor in Ethnic Studies from U.C. Berkeley and an MBA from the Jack Welch Management Institute (JWMI), where she graduated with Welch Scholar distinction. MiSook recently completed Wharton’s Chief Human Resource Officer program in September 2024.

Outside of work, she is passionate about community service and supporting organizations such as World Vision, International Justice Mission, and 3 Generation Education. For over thirty years, she has been an active member of her local church, where she led a small group before recently taking a break. In her free time, MiSook enjoys golf, tennis, and skiing and holds a first-degree blackbelt in Kuk Sool Won, a Korean martial art. A lifelong learner, she enjoys reading and values time with family and friends.
