Michael remains active in his community having served as past president of Gwinnett Mosaic Rotary and national convention chair of the Korean American Coalition Metro Atlanta. Michael was appointed to the Executive Committee of the Community Foundation of Northeast Georgia and the Boy Scouts Executive Council for Northeast Georgia. He is a graduate of Leadership Gwinnett, the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Regional Leadership Institute, and Leadership Georgia. Michael continues to engage with Georgia’s rapidly growing AAPI community as President of the Korean American Foundation. He enjoys traveling and different food experiences and resides in Duluth with his wife, Sarah, and their two children.
