Michael Kim has spent his career in the investment industry, with the last two decades focusing primarily on managing assets on behalf of families through single family office structures. He has been serving as the Chief Investment Officer at Lalia Capital, a family office based in New York City, since 2022. Prior to joining Lalia, he served as the Head of Investments at Oikos Holdings. Before joining Oikos, Michael served as the Chief Investment Officer for the newly formed Wealth Management business unit at Brown Brothers Harriman. Previous to that, Michael served on the investment team at Willett Advisors, where he was one of the original investment team members for the group managing the asset for Mayor Michael Bloomberg. Earlier in his career, Michael served in various roles in both private and public equity investing firms, including being the first investment professional at Portfolio Logic, a Washington DC-based family investment firm.

Michael graduated with a bachelors degree in Government from Harvard College, and holds an M.Phil. from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He resides in Princeton, NJ, with his two children.
