Louis was born in Seoul, South Korea, and grew up in Springfield, VA playing football while helping out my parents run a laundromat. He earned a degree in psychology from American University and has been primarily involved in headhunting over the last 30 years. Currently, Louis is the Co-Founder and CEO of Proven Recruiting which is celebrating its 17th year, with more than 200 employees and locations in San Diego, Hollywood, Dallas, and Austin. Also, he serves on the boards of the Korean American Coalition of San Diego and the Asian Business Association. He married Lee Ann Kim, who he met on the infamous “love boat” trips of the 1980s, have two adult sons and is a practicing black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
