Lina Park brings more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit and communications dedicating her career to giving voice to the underrepresented and serving marginalized communities.  As Executive Director of Korean American Community Foundation of San Francisco, she is passionate about building capacity and connections within the Korean American community and beyond, and working with community leaders to advance innovative solutions that address the needs of the most underserved.

 

Lina’s nonprofit experience has spanned many industries from community health and education to the arts.  She brings nonprofit management skills in many areas including donor cultivation & engagement, annual campaigns, fundraising events, board development, membership and volunteer engagement, program development, collaborative initiatives, and marketing, including social media, branding, and communications. Prior to transitioning her career to nonprofit, Lina worked in the private sector where she provided strategic counsel and implemented communications strategies around product awareness and executive positioning for business-to-business, technology, and telecommunications industries at the world’s largest public relations agency, Edelman.  Lina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Emory University and a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from the University of San Diego. She has served as a speaker at the San Diego Nonprofit Governance Symposium and presently serves as a Vice President and Board Member at Asian Business League of San Francisco.
