Dr. Kenneth Kim is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon based in Los Angeles. He is an Associate Clinical Professor at the UCLA School of Medicine, a Clinical Instructor at Seoul National University College of Medicine, and a partner of Dream Medical Group, a leading plastic surgery clinic in Seoul, South Korea.

Dr. Kim received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where he was a Rhodes Scholarship nominee. He received his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Fellowship. He completed his plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Northwestern University and received the AO Craniomaxillofacial Research and Development Fellowship, the first U.S. plastic surgery resident to be inducted as a fellow into the AO’s headquarters in Switzerland, where he researched minimally invasive surgical techniques. He received a Master of Science in Healthcare Quality and Safety from Harvard Medical School, where he focused on reducing cognitive dysfunction associated with general anesthesia.

Dr. Kim has trained and worked across the globe, including in South Korea, Switzerland, Brazil, and Dubai. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, where he serves on multiple committees. He serves as a reviewer for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (PRS) and PRS Global Open, and has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles. He has presented at national and international conferences, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and at academic institutions such as Harvard Plastic Surgery and The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Dr. Kim specializes in awake plastic surgery using local anesthesia and minimal bleeding techniques. He performs facial and body procedures, including Asian eyelid surgery (double eyelid), eyelid ptosis surgery, facelift, rhinoplasty, and breast surgeries. His focus is on elevating patient safety, improving surgical quality, and preserving brain health during surgery.
