Joy’s career has been defined by a passion for innovation and a track record of leading high-performing teams through periods of transformation. Early in her career, she honed her operational foundation through the GE Capital Financial Management Program, where she led a Six Sigma Quality team focused on process improvement. She then helped pioneer the digital advertising revolution at DoubleClick — one of the industry’s earliest and most consequential startups, later acquired by Google. Her expertise in scaling account management and sales operations contributed to the successful acquisitions of PointRoll by Gannett and FreeWheel by Comcast. She has since brought that same growth-oriented approach to NBCUniversal, DailyCandy, and CreateMe Technologies, where she co-founded the company and served as Chief Client Officer.
A dedicated advocate for community impact, Joy serves on the board of Korean American Story, an organization dedicated to amplifying Korean American voices, and on the board of Hoboken Charter School, where she contributes to strategy and management. As a Korean American adoptee, Joy is deeply committed to supporting the next generation of Korean American leaders.
