Jessica Shim is the Supervising Producer for The Wall Street Journal‘s Social News Video Team in New York. Jessica previously worked at NBC News where she served as a producer of the network’s 2x daily Snapchat newscast, “Stay Tuned.” Prior to her role at “Stay Tuned,” Jessica was a field producer and digital strategy lead for MSNBC’s weekly business program, “Your Business.” A graduate of NYU, Jessica started her career at NBC News as a news associate and later moved into a digital journalist position on the news and lifestyle show “Daily Connection.” She has won an NABJ Salute to Excellence award for her work covering moms in prison and a New York Association of Black Journalists features award for a piece about parents in the wake of the Great Recession.
