James is a second-generation Korean American, born and raised in the DC area, and he now lives in San Francisco with his wife and newborn son. He is an international trade lawyer who worked in government for a number of years before joining his current firm, ArentFox Schiff. He likes running, cooking, traveling, and learning about people and cultures in general. By participating in the NetKAL fellowship, he hoped to connect to others with a similar background, learn how to leverage his heritage and upbringing as a strength, and tell his story of being a Korean-American professional and leader in this day and age.
