Hosea Chang is the Chief Operating Officer at Hayden Global and oversees operations for various apparel brands, including Hayden Los Angeles and Hayden Girls. Hosea is also the President for JC6, a family investment vehicle that invests primarily in early-stage companies. Hosea transitioned from a legal career to an entrepreneurial one, due to his passion for building companies and mentoring others.
Before joining Hayden Global, Hosea was a capital markets lawyer for various prestigious law firms, including Shearman & Sterling, Clifford Chance, and, most recently, with Cooley. Hosea helped companies, in various industries and geographies, raise capital in financial markets, including East and Southeast Asia, during his years in Hong Kong, while assisting numerous biotech companies in going public during his years in the Washington DC area and Southern California.
Hosea received his BA from Duke University, his MA from Yonsei University, and his JD from American University, Washington College of Law, and has the dubious distinction of being licensed to practice law in three states: New York, Virginia, and California. Hosea serves as Co-Chair on the regional San Diego Board of the Duke Alumni Association, as an at large member of the Duke Asian Alumni Alliance, and as the regional Chair for Duke’s Alumni Admissions Advisory Council in San Diego, for which he received a “Forever Duke” award.
