Holly Shick is the Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) in Colorado Springs. She studied French at Penn State University and received her J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law. Holly spent about 14 years in Washington, D.C., working full-time while going to law school part-time, then served as a law clerk at the D.C. Court of Appeals. She was fortunate enough to work at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Washington, D.C., from 2008 through 2014, then transferred to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she worked until December 2016. Knowing she wanted to transition into the private sector and pursue her interest in corporate compliance, Holly worked at Goldman Sachs in the Financial Crime Compliance section in the Salt Lake Office, where she co-headed the anti-money laundering compliance operations team for the firm’s consumer businesses. That role provided a strong foundation for her current role at the USOPC, where she leads the Ethics and Compliance program, including the audit program for the national sport federations the USOPC oversees.
Holly is originally from eastern Pennsylvania, and Holly and her sister were adopted from Korea two years apart. She is passionate about animal rescue, the mountains, and environmental causes. And of course, she love sports and will go see just about anything.
