Hannah Lee is a Product Lead at Google in the AI Innovation and Research team, focused on privacy technologies and Next-Gen on device intelligence. She originally trained as an environmental engineer, and realized her passion and mission is to ensure innovation and technological growth happen safely. Her prior product experience includes serving as the Product Lead for the COVID-19 digital response in the State of California, preventing personal harm at Airbnb, and improving fire safety at Tesla. Her civic service includes working with the Asian Womens Shelter, serving as a Product Advisor to Surgeon General Vivek Murthy and Special Assistant to Secretary Chu of the Department of Energy. Hannah received her S.M. in Applied Math and Engineering Science from Harvard University and her B.S. in Energy Engineering and Sustainable Development from Columbia University. She currently resides between Los Angeles and San Francisco.
