Ben is a rising senior at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia studying Sociology with a minor in Community Building and Social Change (CBSC). He is passionate about affordable housing and plans to pursue a career researching and affecting policy solutions that address America’s housing crisis. Ben will be interning this summer in D.C. with Enterprise Community Partners on the Green Communities team, supporting the creation and preservation of sustainable, climate-resilient affordable housing. On campus, he plans interdisciplinary curricula, helps lead a K-12 outreach program, and advocates for Asian American communities and North Korean refugees. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, reading and writing, biking, and antiquing.
