Anne Lee Benedict serves as the Chief Legal Officer and Chief Administrative Officer and Secretary of Thomas James Homes. Previously, she served as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of Summit Materials, Inc. (NYSE: SUM), a leading U.S. based construction materials company headquartered in Denver, Colorado. Prior to joining Summit Materials in 2013, Anne was a corporate partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where she advised clients in a wide range of industries on M&A and other complex strategic transactions, capital markets transactions, securities regulation matters and corporate governance matters. Anne graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1999. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Psychology from the University of Michigan in 1995.

Anne currently serves on the Board of Directors of ACC Colorado, co-chairing its Chief Legal Officer Committee, and serves as Chair of the N-Gen Advisory Board to the Board of Directors of MCCA, a national organization dedicated to advancing diversity in the legal profession. She previously served on the Boards of Directors of APABA DC and KABA DC and as Co-Chair of the Mergers & Acquisitions Committee of the Corporations, Finance and Securities Law Section of the DC Bar.
