Alpin Hong brings a rare blend of artistry, energy, and strategic communications expertise to his role as a Community Engagement Manager at CKA. Known worldwide for his 25+ year career as a concert pianist, educator, and advocate for the arts, Mr. Hong has transformed his experience in front of global audiences into a powerful skill set behind the scenes—developing communications strategies and creating live events that both entertain and inspire collective action.

From Walt Disney Hall to the White House to Netflix, Mr. Hong brings people together—not just through music, but through storytelling, humor, and cultural relevance. In a performing career that has taken him to all 50 U.S. states and 30 countries around the world, he has garnered the reputation for bringing audiences of every age and background to their feet. He’s been featured in The New York Times for his charisma and ability to make complex art feel accessible and engaging, and his TedX Talk “Transform Yourself Into a Performer” showcases his ability to inspire excellence in everyone. Mr. Hong has proudly served as a keynote speaker and performer for numerous Korean-American community organizations, including CKA, the Korean American Scholarship Foundation, and the Korean American Coalition – Los Angeles.

Mr. Hong received his Master of Music degree at the Juilliard School and received his B.A. in History from the University of California, Los Angeles.
