Isabella Park is a Physician Executive Leader within Northwell as the Associate Medical Director and the Director of Geriatrics and Palliative Care at LIJ Forest Hills hospital. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Zucker School of Medicine and also a clinical Bioethicist. Dr. Park holds several system positions, including being an executive sponsor in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. She created and maintained many clinical and operational programs and initiatives in the hospital and health system. Dr. Park is active in education for all healthcare professional disciplines that includes the Zucker School of Medicine and Hofstra School of Nursing and Physician Assistants.

Dr. Park is the founding chair of Asian Bridges BERG with over 600 members at Northwell Health which was created to help “bridge” relationships with Asian communities and health system, and to be cultural ambassadors within the organization. She implemented the health system’s physicians language referral guide with over 16 languages to promote language and culture concordant care for patients, the first of its kind in New York, and created physician networking groups based on language and culture. Dr. Park is passionate about culturally competent and equitable care for the most vulnerable especially the elderly and immigrant populations within the health system and in the community.
