West Coast Membership Forum & Reception (May 2nd)
Join us for an engaging discussion where we will explore shifting trends and current developments within the U.S. socio-political and economic landscapes, and what these developments may signify for Korean Americans nationwide.
Dr. Taeku Lee, a prominent research Harvard scholar of the AAPI community and this year’s President of the influential American Political Science Association (APSA), will be joined by Dr. Neil Ruiz, head of Pew Research’s key strategic national initiatives. Pew Research Center stands as a premier institution in data-driven social science research. Moderating the timely conversation will be Dr. Michelle Rhyu, Former CKA Board Chair and Senior Counsel at Cooley LLP.
Using recent survey data, this off-the-record conversation will shed new light on the complexities of mainstream American attitudes about key political and economic issues. We encourage audience participation—please bring your questions.
We will kick off the event with a networking reception, providing participants a chance to connect. Co-host and Altos Ventures Partner, Ho Nam, will welcome guests. Board Chair Soo Kim Venkatesan and President Abraham Kim will also share thoughts on CKA’s priorities for 2025.
All CKA members, friends, and supporters are invited! Please RSVP quickly as space is limited.
