The Council of Korean Americans held a New Year Membership Reception in San Francisco on January 16, 2025. This event provided an opportunity to connect and celebrate the start of the year together. CKA Board Chair Soo Venkatesan and Executive Director Abraham Kim shared insights on CKA’s strategic plan & board priorities for 2025, highlighting key initiatives to watch for throughout the year. Attendees then heard from CKA Member & the first Korean American President of the Bar Association of San Francisco Charles Jung on ways to amplify the AAPI voice in our cities and across the nation.
