James Pak is a Health Information Technology and Acquisitions Officer and a Major in the United States Army. He is currently assigned to Defense Health Agency (DHA) as a Project Lead/Manager for various DHA IT projects. He graduated, in 2008, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and a Minor in Leadership from Virginia Tech, where he was also a member of the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets and Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC). Additionally, he holds a Masters in Health Information Technology from the University of Denver (2017). James currently leads and manages multiple Health IT projects at various points in an acquisition’s projects’ lifecycle. In addition, he is a junior consultant for his Army Area of Concentration (AOC), 70D, Health Information System Officers, where he actively shapes, mentors, and defines the future of all Army Health Information System Officers. He is a native of the Northern Virginia Area (Fairfax, VA) and currently resides in Burke, Virginia with his wife and daughter.
