Tae has spent his career analyzing businesses and developing business strategies. He began his career in the telecommunications industry during the tech boom in the 90’s. He was involved in the development of two of the largest upstarts challenging local telecommunication monopolies and guided them to initial public offerings. He also worked as a strategic advisor to the US Department of Commerce on the deployment of $4.7B in broadband infrastructure during the Obama administration. Currently, he is a trader for a commodity futures fund and enjoys deriving insight from raw commodities which drive the global economies as well as reflect the momentum of development in the world.
Tae holds an MBA degree in Finance from the University of Chicago and an Engineering degree from the University of Illinois.
