Aileen Chung is an Executive Administrator and Program Associate at the Council of Korean Americans (CKA). She is the supportive force that empowers the CKA senior leadership working closely with the Executive Director, Director of Operations and Engagement, and Director of Programming, ensuring all their needs are met. She comes to CKA with over five years of experience in the art field. She has worked at various art and cultural institutions, including Nam June Paik Cultural Foundation in Korea, The National Building Museum in Washington, DC, and Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York.
She also has worked at non-profit organizations and a design company planning, marketing, and executing educational, development, and social events on various matters, from artwork conservation to human rights. Aileen graduated from The Art Institute of Chicago with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Painting concentration. She earned a Master of Arts in Museum Studies with a Collections Management focus at Johns Hopkins University.
