DESCRIPTION:On Thursday, September 10, our Health & Life Science Affinity Group hosted a members-exclusive panel conversation featuring CKA members J. Joseph Kim, President, and CEO of Inovio Pharmaceuticals, and Lorence Kim, former CFO of Moderna Therapeutics, and moderated by June Lee. This conversation focused on the current state of COVID-19 vaccine development and was exclusive to CKA members. \n\nThe mission of this Health & Life Science Affinity Group is to promote meaningful networking opportunities, share news and opportunities across the country, and mobilize Korean American leaders to amplify the voice of the community.\nDuring the inaugural meeting back in July, we had a meet & greet for fellow health/life science members, formed a steering committee, and discussed initiatives that the group can pursue.\nThe Health & Life Science Affinity Group is available to CKA Members only.\nCheck out this YouTube playlist featuring webinars we had with Asian American leaders in the health & life science fields, discussing different prospects on COVID-19.\n\n
