CKA is proud to announce our third inspirational honoree for our Gala Awards Dinner on Friday, October 23. The CKA Trailblazer Award recognizes Korean American individuals or groups who have done pioneering and visionary work in their respective fields—paving the way for others—and are recognized for their work by their peers and by the public at large.
Entrepreneur Thai Lee’s accomplishments can be neatly summed up as building the largest female-owned business—and one of the top three minority-owned—businesses in America. Today, Software House International (SHI) is one of the biggest and best-regarded IT providers in the world.
Ms. Lee’s journey as an immigrant, business executive, mother, sister, and daughter has blazed a path of success for generations to follow. At the same time, her version of the American Dream is based on some universal values: hard work, commitment to family at home and at work, and customer service.
Come learn more about Ms. Lee’s remarkable career during CKA’s two-day National Summit on October 23rd and 24th. During the Gala Awards Dinner, CKA will also recognize lawyer and legal scholar Harold Hongju Koh as our Public Servant Award honoree and Dr. Myung Ki Hong as the Philanthropist Award recipient.
